Select Block Mode of Text

Question

I want to be able to select from my SSMS window text in a block like in textpad. Is there an add on for this?

There maybe addons out there, however the feature already exists:

 To use this, you need to hit the ALT key on the keyboard and hold then by selecting the area you need with your mouse, we can select a region in block mode. 

Interestingly , you can then also Type in Block Mode too.....
